Geological mapping is a highly interpretive and scientific method to study and identify the geological and geomorphological features of an area.  This method will produce a range of maps which can be used for geotechnical and geological assessment.

The maps that can be generated from geological mapping includes, Engineering Geological Map, Geomorphology Map, Recommendation Map and Geohazard Map. The maps and analysis will help engineers to plan and assess the geotechnical aspects of the study area.
