Geophysical Survey

Downhole logging

Downhole logging is a technique used to determine the physical properties and distribution of soil and rock surrounding a borehole annulus. From these geophysical logging, physical properties such as density, porosity, thickness, orientation, and lithological identification of soil and rock surrounding the borehole annulus may be determined.

We are specialized in Downhole Logging with experienced manpower and modern software to provide consultancy for:

  • Borehole imaging (acoustic, optical and resistivity)
  • Geotechnical logging (PS-logging, density, acoustic, resistivity, dipmeter)
  • Water exploration (resistivity, gamma, conductivity, water-quality, TV surveys)
  • Environmental, contamination surveys and pressuremeter
  • Well construction and integrity (TV, caliper, CBL)

Electrical Resistivity Survey

Resistivity survey carried out to distinguish the electrical current resistivity to pick up the subsurface profile of a region. The subsurface profiles produced are then interpreted mainly by the zones of the resistivity values present.

We are specialized in Resistivity Survey with experienced manpower and modern software to provide consultancy for:

  • Groundwater exploration
  • Landslide investigation
  • Measuring thickness of residual soil
  • Detection of bedrock layer

Seismic Refraction Survey

The generation, recording, and analysis of seismic. Common applications for civil engineering and environmental studies. Main objective is to measure the time of the “first break”, that is, the time when a given geophone first moves in response to a seismic energy source. Simply stated, since time and relative distances of sources and geophones are known, the velocity of the subsurface can be calculated

The applications of Seismic Refraction to provide: –

  • Bedrock velocities (Vp)
  • Soil & bedrock mapping
  • Determine seismic rippability parameters
  • Determine overburden thickness
