Mohamad Anuri bin Ghazali, has wide experiences as an Engineering Geologist for more than 13 years. Currently, he is a director of GEO MAG ENGINEERING that will focus on geological and geotechnical field. He is a dedicated reliable person and has a wide knowledge particularly in Engineering Geology also can work under burden of stress.
On 3rd January 2007, He joined Kumpulan IKRAM Sdn . Bhd , as Engineering Geologist and he is attached to the Special Project Unit , Infrastructure Research & Development Centre. He involves in conducting, monitoring and completing National Slope Master Plan Study. He has experience on site investigation involves borehole off-shore, borehole on land and various in-situ testing.
He was also heavily involved in forensic work, such as geotechnical investigation of landslides, soil settlements and develops of the geological hazard map. While he was involved in research projects to determine the factors that trigger debris flows in Peninsular Malaysia. In addition, he is also heavily involved in the slopes inspection work for routine slope maintenance
He was involved in surface geology mapping for Cadangan Jalanraya Simpang Pulai – Lojing- Gua Musang – Kuala Berang (pakej 6) from Aring To Jambatan Pasir Pulai Terengganu ( 50 km) for two years based in Gua Musang and Tasik Kenyir, particularly to detect any potential geological problems on slope and forward the information to Jabatan Kerja Raya for action. He able to provide geology map and stability of rock slope . That analysis used Dips and Swedge Software
He also understanding and has knowledge and skill of Early Warning System because he was in-charge of installing, collecting or monitoring data and analysis instrumentation which installed at Gunung Pass, Jalan Simpang Pulai – Cameron Highland in year 2004.
He also install various instrumentation such as standpipe piezometer, vibrating wire piezometer, magnet extensometers, pneumatic piezometer , fibre optic piezometer and in-place inclinometer to detect pore water pressure and movement of the ground.
